Runcorn – Energy from Waste Facility

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A new Energy from Waste (EfW) Thermal Power Station is to be built within the boundary of the existing Ineos works at Runcorn, Cheshire. The value of the whole project being £150million.

The Power Station will receive waste deliveries by road and by rail from Manchester and this shall then be incinerated and converted into power.

WORKS UNDERTAKEN

OSL were commissioned to provide the following services:-

  • Project Management services for the design and implementation of all MEICA balance of works
  • Design resource for the design of all MEICA balance of works
  • Support in engaging subcontractors to carry-out the works
  • Site support for the construction of the works by subcontractors
