Since formation OSL have placed health and safety at the top of the company agenda ensuring that a positive safety culture is created and instilled in all activities.

We have adopted a ‘Just Culture’ environment encouraging all to speak up for safety in an open and honest manner and striving for health and safety excellence on our journey of continual improvement.

We engage all our employees on our programme of Behavioural Awareness Presentations and educate all on why accidents happen, its prevention and encouraging pro-active feedback from our core team.

QUALITY

OSL strives to produce complete customer satisfaction every time, this is achieved through our programme client feedback to review how we can further improve on our programme of continual improvement and developing our business maturity.

The Company ensure quality is injected to all processes and consultation is used to ensure that all Company Directors, Managers and personnel have an input to processes and activities adopted by the Company.

The HSQE team develops and implements an annual audit programme and evaluation of compliance that ensures potential non- conformance is readily identified and corrective actions taken to resolve any arising matters.

OSL have focused on maintaining our environment and ensuring OSL are committed to working for today’s environment and that of future generations.

We are committed to improving our environment and have developed a Sustainability Action Plan to support our business in achieving our environmental & sustainable goals and targets.

We are committed to engaging and supporting our local communities and strive to build excellent relationships.

At OSL we believe our success is built through our people and promote health and wellbeing within our organisation, supporting and encouraging our employees to adopt healthy life styles.

We continue to work with our clients, external providers and partners on protecting and sustaining our environment and share best practice, innovation and ideas in a positive and collaborative manner.

We plan to recycle waste materials where possible, such as metal, cardboard and plastic to support our goal of zero amounts of mixed waste to landfill.

AWARDS & REGISTRATIONS

OSL has recently been rewarded for excellence in Health, Safety, Quality and Environment achievements through the award of a British Safety Council International Safety Award for 2016. This is now the fourth British Safety Council Award that OSL have achieved.

OSL have also gained two RoSPA Gold Awards. A clear indication of OSL’s ongoing commitment in striving for excellent health and safety standards.

The group has accreditation certification for the International Standards, BS EN ISO 9001:2008, BS EN ISO 14001:2004 and British Standard: OHSAS 18001:2007.

OSL has successfully undergone and maintained RISQS audits achieving 5 star status for technical product codes associated with the company activities, demonstrating that robust management systems are in place and continually maintained to high standards.

ZERO TOLERANCE

OSL has adopted a zero tolerance to accidents and currently enjoys an exemplary safety record since the formation of the company.

It is important to OSL that our employees are engaged in delivering work safely and report unsafe acts or conditions in an open and honest manner.

We believe that involving our core team is critical to safe working behaviours and involving relevant personnel in the risk assessment processes supports building robust relationships and drives ownership in doing the work safely.
