The world’s most famous steam engine The Flying Scotsman will visit the world’s most famous railway town on June 15.

Following a £4.2m refurbishment the iconic steam engine will steam into Crewe at 2pm on its way to Holyhead, Anglesey from London Euston.

It has been painted in the traditional early 1960s British Rail green for its first official outing bearing its nameplates after the restoration project.
