Encouraging further development

OSL encourages its employees to develop their skills and has a number of personnel who are currently studying a range of qualifications. A work based training matrix is also available to help them reach their goals.

Promoting employee involvement

Employee involvement is encouraged and all managers, directors and HR personnel operate an open and honest policy to enable them to be available and approachable to all personnel.

OSL has a dedicated Human Resource manager on hand to deal with any personnel issues including areas such as health, safety and wellbeing, training, harassment and equal opportunities. Annual appraisals are carried out by line managers to allow employees the opportunity to discuss any issues they may have in a confidential environment.
